There are only these few requirements to be elgible for down payment assistance.

Eligibility Requirements for down payment assistance:

  • You can not earn more than the income limits listed in the
    income table below,     subject to change annually. These figures are you GROSS income - before taxes.

  • You may not have owned a home for the last three years, unless you are a displaced homemaker, or your home has been determined to be substandard.

  • You must occupy the home that you buy.

  • In order to qualify for down payment assistance, the home you buy must be within the city limits or Leon County and can not be mobile or modular.
